Outside of work, I tend to make small design experiments of character, mood, texture and colour. These help me keep my approach to design feeling playful and spontaneous for myself.

Sometimes they move, often they don’t. This is a page where they can all live together.

At the moment I’m enjoying animating and dragging sliders around in 3D, but my work is rooted in drawing & design. I like the jump back and forth and also combine the two.

These experiments usually take the form of minimal chunky shapes decorated with bold colors.

Being a keen runner, this gives me the excuse to keep making infinite run cycles and creating models of dream trainers.

These experiments usually feed back into commercial work and is in some way or another, pretty cathartic for me to make (see me as a child above).
